A must-see museum before visiting Ground Zero and known worldwide as the “Biggest Little Museum in New York”, this is a 5-star rated tour in NYC and the “4th Most Popular Attraction in New York” according to TripAdvisor.com. View artifacts and the stunning images of Official Ground Zero Photographer Gary Marlon Suson. Dubbed “Rare Photos” by the New York Times, daily 2-hour tours leave visitors with a front-lines look at the special people and stories from the Ground Zero Recovery. The kid-friendly museum stays away from the day of 9-11 and focuses on the 8 months that followed. Tours include an introductory narration and history by your own tour guide, a 12-minute film on the large screen, interactive walk-through of artifacts and finally the self-guided audio experience, which contains 100 stories behind each image and artifact!
Audio tours programmed in French, Italian, English and Spanish. Limit 25 guests per tour, so reserve well in advance to secure your spot. Located in Manhattan’s Historic “Meat-Packing District,” about 8 minutes by subway from the actual WTC site.
Note: Call 212-924-1040 to reserve your tour time. You will need to leave your credit card number to reserve a spot; however, your card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your tour. This museum is not located at Ground Zero.
